You know, of all the scientific fields I've encountered, I find Nanoscience the most inspiring, it has that feel to it that there's still so much to be discovered.
So how does one end up so skilled at three dimensional rendering? I've played around with software like Maya but it never drew me in enough for me to really improve my skills.

I have obtained the skill of rendering by making various scenes.
